Morning everyone.!

So, not much is new at the moment, I'm sitting at my new desk, with my computer finally hooked up though - so that's sweet. I really hate not being able to do the things I need to get done until I get to work to use their email and internet. Thanks to my Mom and Dad who are fantastic and came to help me on Sunday to put the desk together and put up some shelves in my bedroom. My Mom sewed all my drapes and they look fantastic. I don't know what I would have done without them - they have been an amazing help in getting my place to look the way that it does. Special thanks also to Brenda and Pete who helped me move on Oct 14th - it was really nice to have their support also.

Now for the news that isn't so happy? We're without hot water - again. I mean, it's not even warm or luke warm.. it's just luke cold. I mean, it's not ice cold, but it's not comfortable to stand in for more than a few seconds. Apparently its been like that all weekend, I wasn't here Saturday, but yesterday it was off, and this morning still - jerks. I've had enough of these people - they better believe that I'll be asking for an adjustment of payment when the time to close comes.

I had my first horrible experience on the Hwy - I got on, on Friday night and it was jammed. Apparently there had been an accident. So, instead of reversing up the on ramp (Next time, you better believe that's the plan.) I just waited to get into the long line of not moving traffic. From the entrance ramp I got on, to the first exit ramp (~ 5 min drive) it took me 2.5 hours!!! My call was overheating because when it idles like that, it just gets too hot. So I had to pull off to the side of the road 4 - 5 times to let it cool down before I got back into the line. Important tip: Run the heat in your car to cool it down, I never knew this, until about five seconds before I got off the Hwy. By this time it was 8:30pm and I just wanted to go back home. So I got off the hwy and couldn't even see a ramp to get back on, so I decided fine - I'll take back roads to get home. (thank god I had a map!) So I drove and drove and drove. I got lost twice and had to ask for directions. In total, it took me 5 hours to get home on Friday night, instead of the usual 1.5 - 2 hours. It was horrible, but I made it... heh.

AND I guess that's it people. There isn't much to tell about my weight, I'm pretty much maintaining where I was - I seem to be having a hard time focusing on getting back into a routine, I guess because so much has changed it all just seems so out of order. I'd like to do some cleaning and organizing tonight, as well as shopping for food, and more laundry. So, my days are very full. I'll let you know once I'm back to counting pnts and such though - hope you are all having a good morning, and I'll try to stop by some Blogs some time tonight.

Whew!

Ok, people, I was honest when I said for the past 4 weeks or so I haven't been counting pnts, haven't exactly been eating right - but of course I also haven't been over eating when I can avoid it. I've been worried with every passing day that I'm gaining and gaining all that weight that I've lost - GOOD NEWS!!!! I maintained and let me tell you, that's more than I could have asked for. I'm so glad, and now I can relax and just try to get back into a routine so I'm back on the ball with things.

The condo stuff is slowly coming into a comfortable zone for me - I love my space, and love the things I've filled it with - of course there are plenty of issues with the builder and such. I moved in on Oct 14th and didn't have warm water until the 17th or 18th, I can't remember. We still don't have HOT water, just warm water. Honestly, the list of things that need to be done is huge, and I sent a rather irritated email to the VP of Lancer yesterday to complain further. The only reason the email was huge and angry was because she was ignoring what I was saying and also was trying to pass me off to that Twit - which we all know I hate - Catherine. We'll see where this gets me, they don't have my money yet for next month - and if they want it, I suggest they take the time to address the concerns I've voiced. My lawyer is involved, so he's keeping tabs on things for me hopefully.

The new job is going well, it's busy. I guess I feel like it's busier than my old job in Stouffville only because I'm doing different and more smaller tasks as well as the exact job that I was doing in the first place. I like it, it's newer, and different and it was definately time for a change.

Ok, well, I guess I should get ready for the morning, just wanted to give you all a bit more of an update - I still haven't had time to check all your Blogs and such, but I don't have a computer set up at home yet, that'll take some time until I find a desk I want. Oh, one final note, Matthew is going to be here in 16 days! So exciting. Ok, talk to you all later!

I'm not dead! Promise!!

I'm sorry I haven't updated in like - FOREVER - Mishy has demanded that I make an appearance to let everyone know that I'm here, and not dead, and still breathing. I don't have much time at the moment. But I wanted to just drop a note to all you lovely people and say that I hope you're all doing MUCH better than I am with the pnts and such. My back is finally starting to feel better - the move went alright, and the new job is busy. I'll update in more detail later, huggles all!!

Starting to feel better...

So, here's the deal. I hurt my back over a week ago - and have so far missed about 3 days of work, gone to the doctors and been laid up for like... 5 days. It's been a difficult 10 days, filled with a lot of pain, frustration, anger and over all irritation towards the situation. It has kept me from doing a lot of getting ready for the condo, used up all my sick time at work, etc.

Finally, it seems to slowly be getting better. Although it still hurts, I'm able to make it through the day of work on painkillers and anti-inflamitories (sp?). I've been putting an ice pack on at home, and my Mother has been taking care of me and letting me borrow her vehicle since it's higher up and "easier" to climb in and out of than my low resting Honda Accord.

This is going to all be quick updates, I want to walk around a bit before lunch is over to ease up on my back and hips. Tomorrow I am going to Cambridge, and for the first time will step foot into my Condo - I can't tell you how exciting that is! They finally took my upgrade chqs - 4 months late, but whatever. Next week will be the Interim closing and on the 14th I should be moving into my place - Eep! I'm nervous and excited. Going to miss my friends at work and my Mom at home so freakin much... ~pouts~ But everything must change, and things will be fine, I know.

Eating has been ify lately. Exercise non-existant since I can't do much besides walk across a room once or twice. So, no loss after 2wks, which puts me behind on my goal... but hopefully things will get better soon.

Ok, that's it for now. I miss you all! Huggles to everyone and be good, eat healthy and exercise lots! Talk to you all soon, and I'll try to find time to read all your Blogs once I'm feeling a bit better.

Out!
Becca.
