No Time!

I had a very busy night Friday, a very busy day yesterday and today looks ot be shaping up in much the same fashion. I don't have time to Blog right now, I'm supposed to be getting ready so we can make yet another trip to Ikea to pick up items I've decided to buy. I bought my entertainment unit yesterday, and today I'm picking up the bed frame - that's right folks - I finally decided on a freakin bed. Geeze. Alright, no time to talk - have a wonderful Sunday everyone.

Ok, Here's the Plan.

So, last night I got myself motivated enough to come up with a plan of action for condo stuff and other stuff in general. I made a list, each page has the date on it, and for each day, I've assigned myself tasks to complete - that way, I wont forget anything, and hopefully everything will be completed in time. Today's list is longer than most of the others - it was also a way to keep me focused on certain tasks instead of freaking out about the millions of things that need to be done. Honestly, I can't wait for the move - and I'm excited to be out on my own, but lets just do it already.. this freaking out about the lead up to it is painful. ~laughs~

Anyway, nothing is new really. I friggin missed The Office last night because apparently they moved it to 8pm - you know, the same time friggin Greys and Survivor is on, bleh. Pissed me off when I was frantically looking for it and Mishy informed me it was already on. Boo. Oh well, I guess I'll just catch it next week - Hell, once I move if I'm not getting cable I'll not be able to watch any of my shows... so I guess it doesn't matter.

I suppose that's all I have to say for now, hope everyone has a good day. It's still very early here, so I'm not sure what the weather will be like today - here's hopin cool and sunny! ~fingers crossed~ I so need to go buy new Fall/Winter clothing.

Casual Thursday.

Hey everyone, how's it goin?
Nuffin new here really, I've decided it's time I get excited - Jazzed if you will - about the condo, about life, about how lucky I am and how much I have and how many wonderful people are around me. Ok ok, no, I'm not a super positive person, I think saying I'm positive at all would be streching it - but I'm gunna try, it's all I can do - right? So, for the next couple days I'm going to try and get things figured out with myself, try to get onto a good track and ENJOY the moments that are happening all around me. I want to be excited about everything coming up in my future, enough with the freaking out 24/7.

My weight loss is going well, I'm staying OP each day, I'm not exercising AS much as I'd like - but that's easily changed, just a bit more effort on my part will help with that. Anyway, I don't have much time and I'd like to check some other Blogs - so have a healthy day all.

I almost forgot!! Don't forget to watch the Office tonight people! We find out what happens between Pam and Jim (swoon) I can't tell you how flippin excited I am. Also, did anyone happen to catch Jericho last night? Did anyone think it had poor acting?? I dunno, I watched it, and just wasn't all that impressed. I was so hoping it would be one of my new fav shows and I think it lacked something huge last night. I mean, is the entire show going to be a - Be afraid, everyone is out to get you - kinda thing?? I mean, I've kinda had enough of the media and government shoving bullshit down our throats - so now they thought they'd take a different approach and try to put the fear into us through a new entertainment show? Dunno, it was weak - that's all I'm saying. Come back to the board when you have something new to show me. Then again, I'm not a Prison Break or 24 fan.. and maybe it's along those lines and it's just not my type of show? Anyone like it? Didn't?

The job is mine!

I got it, it's finally offical. My last day at the current office will be Oct 13th and the first day at the new one will be Oct 16th. I move in, obviously, on the 14th and 15th. ~laughs~ I can't believe it's almost here! That's freakin nuts.. there's still SO much stuff to do.. I'm not ready yet! Eep. Short post, I know, but I'm going in early again for overtime this morning. I really, really need the money. Was going to say you have no idea how badly - but I'm sure that's not true, everyone needs money.. so I'm sure you understand what it's like to be short on it.

12:35pm Update:
Ok, I'm blogging about this - but I'm not going to mention any names. But, it was too funny / odd not to share I thought, and so here I am, telling all of you lovely people. If the person who this is about reads this, and is offended... well... to each their own? heh. So without further delay, here is the conversation that occured:

Person: I have a doctors appointment tomorrow to see if I need surgery.
Moi: Surgery? What for? (Too personal since I barely know the person? Maybe. They brought it up!)
Person: I have kidney stones.
Moi: Really? Wow, it seems like everyone these days has stones and is having surgery for it.
Person: Yeah well, it's because when I was a kid, I used to go outside and eat mud and stones - you know how kids are.
Moi: (I laugh, confused not by the fact that kids eat stones and mud - sure they do. But because she thinks kidney stones and regular outside on the ground stones are the same??) Yeah, kids eat crazy things.
Person: My Mom thinks I'm weird, but even now, when it rains... it just smells so good..... (trails off)

........... what was I supposed to say to that?! I just laughed and tried to process it in my mind - it was difficult. She wants to eat mud? And thus ends story time.

I don't really have time...

Morning, I don't have much time, like four minutes or less to write this. Sorry I didn't write for awhile, I've been away - Worked 5hrs of overtime on Saturday. Drove up to Cambridge on Sunday, my car broke hello another $300 repair. Was stranded in Cambridge the entire day, had my "interview" at the Kitchener office which went well - I stayed until 3pm since I couldn't make it back to my office - plus, my stupid car was still broken and where the Hell else was I supposed to go? Left Cambridge around 5:30pm and got home about 1 1/2 later or so - through a long, rainy drive that gave me one Hell of a headache. Whew, well, that was as short as I could make that story - hope you're all having a good day - I'm off to work, early, to work some more overtime - ~whimper~ See ya.

Busy weekend.

It's been a busy weekend for me so far!
Last night Mishy and I went out to dinner, she drove us to Ikea and I spent near $300 on dishes, a light, etc for the condo. There's still so much to buy, I can't believe how much stuff I need! Eep.

So, we were attacked by spiders on the way home - YES - I said attacked. We were driving in the car, and thinking about the gross story that Mishy had told me about imported rug spiders from Ikea and then suddenly.. one of those horrible clear house spiders. crawled in the creepy way spiders crawl, down the windshield of the car. I made a short eep sound and pointed - Mishy immediately turned on the wipers - but it was no good! The damn thing was outta reach. So in hopes of getting it anyway, she tried to spray it with washer fluid - the damn thing dodged like it was a ninja or some shit and then crawled back onto the roof of the car where we couldn't see it. On edge now, the two of us openly hoped that by driving a mere 60kms would cause enough wind over the car for the damn thing to be blown off. Our hopes were dashed when it crawled down my side window at the next set of lights. Screaming occured, I'll be honest with you. The thing continued to crawl in and our of our sights for a couple blocks until a SECOND spider joined it.. now that was just creepy. More screaming. We were beignning to believe that they were everywhere - inside the car, coving the car - waiting to ambush us at the exact right moment. Eventually, one of the two spiders met his death when he crawled too far down the windshield and Mishy threw those wipers into action - smeared! Sucka. The second, of course, sensing the danger crawled inside the side view mirror for cover - no amount of smacking with Mishy's shoe would coax him out - so hopefully he leaves on his own. It was difficult to get out of the car, I'll tell you that much. But, as you can see - I'm alive, and as far as I know... Mishy made it home safely and unharmed by the Spiders. (Save for a few shaken nerves.. heh)

ANYWAY, so this morning and convinced myself to get up out of bed and headed into work to work 5 hours of overtime. I need the money, but I definately do not need the more work. Heh. Since I've been home I managed to bag up and box up like 4 containers of Good Will stuff.. trying to clean out my bedroom of junk and start to get ready to pack up all my stuff to get out of here next month - I can't believe it's only a MONTH away!

Argh!!!!

Stress just likes to pour in around me these days.. I'm like a magnet for it, or maybe I just welcome it - who the Hell knows. I'm sick of it, I know that much. My car broke about a week ago - $700 later that piece of shit is working again. Money I really didn't have to spend, but had to. Then yesterday, I'm sitting in the Tim Hortons line and the fuckin thing almost over heats!!! Not good. I can't afford to get it checked, so I'll have to hope it doesn't do this any other time than when I'm craving a tea from Tims.. heh. The Moron from the condo - Cathrine G. - mails me a letter that I'm sure was supposed to be a confirmation of dates but was entirely wrong and mixed everything up. In a frantic, angry panic I called her personal cell to find out immediately what the fuck was going on... to which she replies "Hehehe, I don't write the letters, or read them, I just sign them and assume they're right." You, my dear, are an Ass. I have to drive to the Kitchener office on Monday, and I hate driving when I don't know where I'm going - freaks me out! Argh, it's going to be a stressful day on Monday. And now, I have to go have my shower so I make it to work on time - I should be doing overtime tonight, but I just don't have it in me - plus I've made plans with Mishy to go to Ikea. However, I might work on Saturday - just what I need, more work. Heh. Anyway, peace out, have a great day all.. and here's hoping the entire day isn't filled with rain again.

Rain . . . ?

It's supposed to rain today, which means I prolly wont get much walking in at work today - which also means I'll be trapped in the building! Eeepp! No biggie I guess, whatever. I'll manage a day indoors just fine I'm sure. Just means that tonight for exercising I'll have to come home and do a DVD or something, some weights maybe. We'll see what I decide on later today. I'm sitting here, when I should be upstairs getting ready for work, making a lunch, and yet I continue to sit here infront of my computer - not entirely wanting to go to work today. Tomorrow or the following day I have an interview with the supervisor for the Kitchener office - to which I will hopefully - fingers crossed - be transferring to next month. It really would make my life much easier to just HAVE a job there waiting for me instead of having to search for one.

Ok ok, I really have to go otherwise I'm going to be late. Have a good day everyone.

12:05pm Update:
Gah! I can't believe how much 2pnts makes as a difference! I feel like during the day I use up too many pnts now. Really, if I have 6pnts for breakfast, and 7 - 9 pnts for lunch and a 2pnt snack then I've used up 17 of my 26 pnts!! Usually I like to have at LEAST 10 pnts for dinner so I can have something filling so I don't snack at night.. this is crazy! If I have one off day now where I eat too much at lunch I dunno what I'll have for dinner. Darn it. I have to figure out how to work with lower pnt amounts.. because it's only going to get lower and lower. ~Small panic~ You know. I guess I could have had half my sandwich now, and half later.. and then avoided a 2pnt snack all together - duh. Ok, I need to think more about this.

So, I'm aiming for around 30 minutes a day of exercising. I don't want to push myself too much because then I end up being sore all the time, so I figured as long as I was getting 30 minutes each day, then it's good. That means there isn't a day that goes by where I haven't done some form of exercising, ya know? Anyway, I'm gunna maybe go for a walk here before my lunch is over. Have a good day everyone!

System is Toast.

I've been sitting here at work since 7:45am doing nothing - the system is down. It's been a long time of staring at the screen, hitting refresh, and doing tiny other jobs that mean nothing. Two posts, can you believe it?!


Just another short one. To update my 101 Things in 1001 Days list.
"Learn how to cook something new that's fantastic and yummy" Well, I baked myself a Pear Pie yesterday, and I'm counting this. It wasn't hard - but it was what I consider baking and therefore - since I NEVER bake - I'm counting it!! There are plently of other things I've learned to cook since I made the list also - so I can throw them all in there also if you like. But Mm Mmm Mmmm that pie was tasty. #15 is OFF the list!

"Visit Lori at her new house." I did this a couple weekends ago, Mishy and I drove up to Cambridge, did some measuring of the condo and then went out for dinner with Lori and Lawrence. Showed Mishy Lori's very large, very pretty house. So this one is also off the list! #29 is complete!

I guess that's it folks. I would write more - but again, just don't feel like it. Doing fine with exercise and pnts. Though without writing pnts down each day I find it a bit harder to keep track. I'll try to come back, promise. I might be going out today to buy some lights for my condo - they were so pretty. So, we'll see. Have a good day.

I keep trying...

I keep trying to post on here.. and I just can't do it. I don't want to, or don't have anything to say... half way through all the posts I've tried I delete them out of irritation.

Quickly though? I'm doing fine, I've been staying OP pretty much - which is the 26pnts instead of 28pnts. I can tell the difference, even though it's only 2pnts. I'm exercising, less than I was though. And now I have to go, because I can feel the irritation building. I'll try to post on a day when I'm less irritated.
